We have produced a unique teaching tool designed for Indigenous Studies Programs. This handmade kit is a model replica of the North West Coast First Nations Long House. Made of recycled red cedar, the class project is an excellent means to foster teamwork, cooperation, the adherence to directions, dexterity and creativity – all within the context of Indigenous Studies.
Working together with this mixed media educational tool, is a challenging and satisfying way to promote learning.
We welcome your enquiries, questions and orders! We have enjoyed excellent response and recommendation from many schools throughout The Lower Mainland.
Allow us to introduce Mystery’s Creation and it’s North West Coast Long House Model Replica Kit as an integral part of your curriculum.
(note, the kit displayed here is one that has been embellished. See bottom of the page for images of the kit that is provided, and also shows how it is put together)
A class presentation has also been designed to enhance the learning experience and study of West Coast Indigenous culture. The presentation fills a 45 minute block and includes traditional story telling and songs. Students have the opportunity to ask questions about the presentation.
Facilitator, Te Mah Tenah, has delivered over 80 of these enhancements as a means of creating a wider dimension to the learning experience.
Te Mah Tenah is a craftsman, artist and storyteller. He has spent the past 30 years studying traditional storytelling from well known native Elder and Master Story Teller, Johnny Moses (Whis Stem Men Knee).

As an introduction and basis for discussion and learning about our West Coast Indigenous
